Geranium hydrosol is prepared by using hydro distillation of geranium flowering tops. It has a light floral scent, similar to rose oil. It is a plant and a hairy perennial shrub which is often used in hedgerows. It can grow up to 1m high with pointed leaves and pinkish-white flowers. There are about 700 species of geraniums, many of which have become very popular as decorative, scented house and garden plants. It has a pleasant simple as an air freshener. It is widely used in the aromatherapy section.
