Neryl Acetate

Neryl acetate is the acetate ester or nerol. The chemical formula of neryl acetate is C12H20O2. It is a chemical compound which found in citrus oils. It is the cis isomer with geranyl acetate which is the trans isomer of the same molecule. It is related to the fatty alcohol ester family. Neryl acetate occurs naturally in a range of citrus and other scents and presents in the herb, fruit, spice essential oils from artemisia to ylang ylang like lavender and neroli. It is effective in jasmine and neroli fragrances.
